Mount Templates

Our range of mount templates is designed to suit the most popular standard print sizes and incorporates a generous border width of around 3”.

Templates are available in 17 frame sizes and you can choose from a total of 33 different template styles incorporating both single and multiple apertures within a range of square, landscape and portrait formats.

Choosing the right mount for your photograph within your chosen frame is crucial to achieving the perfect end result.

Here at Foto Framing we have a wide selection of mount styles and templates that complement all types of photography. We make sure we fully understand exactly what you want to achieve from your display and will then suggest the best mount template to suit the photography in hand. Of course, you may already know the exact template you want to go for and this is fine too.

Just to give you an idea of the quality of our mount board, we select from:
•    a range of mount thicknesses (1.4mm to 3.2mm)
•    white core mount board
•    solid black core mount board (gives extra depth)
•    grooved mount boards
•    layered mount boards

All our mount board is ph neutral and meets the criteria for recommended standard framing as set out by the Fine Art Guild.

We use state-of-the-art computerised mount-cutting equipment at all times, thus ensuring the best possible bevel cut and consistency in quality for each cutting project.

Signature Embossing

We’re all proud of our own creativity. And one of the best ways of announcing this is to be able to uniquely identify work as being ‘ours’.

Signature embossing onto mount board does just this. It’s a new and innovative way of distinguishing photographic work as being ‘yours’ and setting it apart from your competitors.

The embossing technique involves producing an indented mark into the mount that follows your signature as if it was drawn with a pen. Similarly, with a logo, the lines of the logo design are traced and then indented into a mount’s surface.

Embossing is available on all our mounts for a one-off set up fee and a small charge made for each mount.

Care is taken to replicate your signature or logo as accurately as possible, however occasionally, certain signatures and logos are just not viable as embossing propositions. We try not to be beaten so please do contact us, we’re happy to offer a free evaluation just to make sure that your idea is possible.
